Terms & Conditions
These terms cover thearchitectinprogress.com, the free preview of Architect in Progress by Abhishek Narayan. Reading the preview, joining the launch list, or sending feedback means you accept them.
The preview
Chapters on this site are drafts shared for early-reader feedback. Wording, order, and which chapters are open can change before the book is published. The stories are fiction. They are not professional, legal, or technical advice, and a resemblance to a real workplace is not a description of that workplace.
Copyright
The text, cover, and site are owned by Abhishek Narayan. You may read the preview in your browser and share links to this site. Do not copy, republish, or redistribute a chapter, in full or in substantial part, without permission.
The launch list
Joining is optional. Expect about one email a month about new chapters and the launch. Every message has an unsubscribe link. You are responsible for the address you submit.
Feedback
Feedback is voluntary. You allow the author to read it and to use the ideas in it while revising the book. Your name will not be published next to a quotation unless you agree to that separately. Do not include someone else’s private information in a message.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the forms, try to break the site, or send unlawful, abusive, or automated submissions.
No sale on this site
The preview is free. If the finished book is sold, that sale happens elsewhere and follows that seller’s terms. Nothing here promises a publication date or a price.
Availability and liability
The site is provided as it is. Chapters can be added, edited, or taken down, and the site may be unavailable while it is updated. To the extent the law allows, Abhishek Narayan is not liable for loss from using the preview or from treating a draft chapter as instruction.
Changes and contact
These terms can be updated. The date at the top is the date of the current version. Continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the update. Questions can go through the feedback form on the home page. How personal information is handled is described in the privacy policy.
